With senior contacts and relationships with betting operators on a global scale, HRB understands individual client requirements as well as organisational structures and cultures. HRB Consultancy was founded by Ian Houghton. Ian has worked in the horseracing and betting industry for the last 25 years. For the last 14 years he has held senior roles in Racecourse Media Group, latterly as Director of International (Sales and Marketing), managing all RMG’s international client base. This involved managing the full sales cycle from initial conversations to contracting and service launch (new business) and various business development initiatives (existing clients) across both Tote and Fixed odds betting. Prior to RMG, Ian spent a decade at UK Tote Group, working in commercial roles covering both on-course and off-course betting channels as well as technical projects, such as SSBTs.
Through Ian’s wide range of industry contacts, HRB can call on a diverse group of specialists in the industry to expertly advise on all aspects of the horseracing and betting industries.
With over a quarter of a century of industry experience HRB are grounded in horseracing and betting. We possess the knowledge and experience to help betting operators and suppliers - we understand the current market dynamics and the direction in which they are moving.
